For more in depth information go to the US Census Bureau's FactFinder  then go to Fact Sheet or Housing .   Once there, enter the State and Zip Code then click "go"  Look on the page for step 2 and click on the underlined zip code which will bring an incredible number of additional links and information about that zip code.

If you want a more visual experience, you can go the Census Bureau's U.S.Gazetteer put in the zip code and hit the search button.  Then click on "Map" where it says "Browse Tiger Map of area."  Once you are at the map section you can zoom in or out, show street names, select different layers and redraw the map.
